Performing laboratory tests to detect diseases in patients by analyzing blood samples, cultures, biopsies, and other tissue samples Communicating test results to physicians in a timely manner Recording observations about patient conditions, treatments, and outcomes of treatment over time Conducting research to improve diagnostic techniques and therapies for disease treatment Ordering additional lab tests or referring patients to other specialists as needed Interpreting test results to determine the presence of infection or disease. Educating patients about their condition and treatment options Preparing specimens—obtaining samples of tissue or body fluids from patients Maintaining inventory of supplies such as needles, tubes, gloves, and slides المهارات 5 years minimum experience MBBS OR MD in Clinical Pathology Certificate in Clinical Pathology
